About us
Wow, it really matters what you eat!
At age 19 Jim moved away from home to work and found himself getting so tired everyday by 4 o'clock that he needed to go to bed. So, he called his mom who asked if he was eating his vegetables. He said "yes, there are peas and corn in the tv dinners." She thought that covered it.
Then a coworker and vitamin salesman told Jim he would feel better if he took vitamins for 30 days, with a moneyback guaranty. Jim took the challenge was feeling normal again very shortly.
That experience convinced Jim that what we eat really matters. He set his mind toward eating, and now producing, foods with human health and nutrient density as the priority.
Pure food really is like medicine which heals bodies of both humans and animals.
In 2007, after a career in manufacturing engineering, Jim and Lynn Bartlett, with their four boys, began Bartlett Farms in the Turtle Mountains of North Dakota. More details about their journey to real food are at the link below.
